Guide clean the plasterboard

We have already stressed several times that plasterboard is the most used building material in recent years.

Thanks to its flexibility, we find it in many renovations or furnishing solutions.

It can happen that it gets dirty or it gets dirty.

Let's see how to clean it effectively and what we need to do it:

1. POWDER: very easy to remove, simply pass a damp cloth or electrostatic "dust-catching" cloths.

2. KITCHEN: stubborn stains like those of wine, gravy, oil, ... need a more accurate treatment. Take a sponge and a glass of warm water. Carefully dab the offending area by repeating the operation until the stain disappears.

3. COFFEE: use bleach diluted in water (1 dose of bleach per 9 of water). Then take a dry cotton cloth, wet it in the solution and dab gently on the stains. Repeat the operation until the stain disappears. Finally, dry with a dry cloth. Then air the room until completely dry. In case we need to work on colored plasterboard, use the delicate bleach.

4. MOLD: humidity can cause unsightly stains on plasterboard. We can intervene by creating a solution with water and baking soda and rub the area with a brush, then letting it dry (for other solutions see specific article).

5. BLOOD: as for wine, even this type of stains require treatment with a sponge and a glass of warm water by dabbing the area.

6. INK: like other cases, this type of stain also needs treatment with a sponge and a glass of warm water by dabbing the area.

Tips:

In the event that the stains do not disappear, use sandpaper by passing it slightly over the dirt spot.

Since this operation is delicate, with a probable risk of damaging the plate, it is recommended to have it performed by a professional.

CAUTION:

Each situation is to be assessed individually and it may not be sufficient to act as indicated.

In any case, our advice is to consult a professional who will surely know how to intervene in the safest and most effective way.
