ALUZINK

Treatment carried out on the surface of the sheets.

This type of treatment is characterized by a surface coating layer of the product (substrate) applied through a continuous hot bath of steel, following the dictates of the European standard UNI EN 10346, in a composition made of elements capable of protect the sheet from corrosion.

Subsequently a "recovery" is carried out which superficially creates a steel / zinc alloy containing between 7% and 13% of steel, always taking into account the tolerances included in the UNI EN 10143 standard.

The most used types of treatment are:

• Chemical passivation: protects the surface against humidity and reduces the risk of "white rust" formation.

• Oiling: isolates the surface from humidity using a layer of oil, which can then be eliminated thanks to specific degreasing solvents.

• Phosphating: improves the workability of the steel and the adhesion of the coating in the case of subsequent processing of the product by an operator. Excellent corrosion protection.
