After having removed the old false ceiling or lowering the level without removing the old one, you can start with the preparation phase to build a plasterboard false ceiling.

If one opts for a uniform structure, then the frame is made of "elle" aluminum rods so as to form a grid where the various panels are screwed from time to time.

 Alternatively, many people prefer to install a type of false ceiling using aluminum rods (available in different colors) that are visible, and the panels can be laid simply by placing them on appropriate clamps without using neither nails nor hooks for which it becomes in all respects a removable false ceiling.

In our case we deal instead with the uniform false ceiling.
