MDF is a composite of wood fibers pressed with resin or glue at high temperatures. The whole is then covered with a patina to obtain a smooth finish.

The result is a material very resistant to dents, without knots inside, easy to paint, used in the construction of furniture and closets because it is also easy to cut.

Alternatively, it is used to cover walls, in the internal structure of doors or as an office partition thanks to its insulating and soundproofing properties.

The most important defect is the poor resistance to water and humidity and for this reason it is advisable, in the presence of humid environments, to treat with cementite on both sides in equal measure.

The plywood is produced from thin layers of wood fibers glued perpendicularly one on top of the other so that the panel made is resistant and stable even in particularly humid environments.

Thanks to these characteristics, plywood is used as a covering material for walls and ceilings or as a base for laying paving.

Resistant to water, it is a material that can also be used in outdoor works.
