HOW TO INSTALL PLASTERBOARD DOOR

Here are easy step-by-step instructions for installing a plasterboard hatch:

• Place a roll of corrugated cardboard and 4x4 cover sheets on the ground to protect the flooring from dust and debris;

• First of all make sure that the metal profiles (uprights) necessary to support the weight of the trap door are present in the internal part adjacent to the hole in the plasterboard;

• Separate the door from the external aluminum frame;

• Proceed with a professional hacksaw to create a hole of the "plug" size on the wall or on the plasterboard false ceiling. NB: if the hole is not perfectly linear, proceed with a file planer to perfect it;

• Place the aluminum frame inside the hole created in the rear part of the wall or the plasterboard false ceiling;

• Fasten the aluminum frame to the slab with a screwdriver with depth adjustment and suitable self-drilling phosphated screws. Note: after this operation, the heads of the screws will be seen on the plasterboard.

• Now insert the plasterboard door separated from the aluminum frame previously.

• Now check that the click clack opening system works perfectly.
