How to hang a painting on plasterboard with the plugs for plasterboard
PLASTERBOARD ANCHORS: they replace the traditional nails that have no seal on the slabs. They have an expansion structure that grips the air gap behind the plasterboard ensuring an optimal grip. They can be bought in hardware stores, plasterboard retailers and at "advanced" paint factories. Application:
⁃ Position the anchor where you decided to hang the picture.
⁃ With the help of a hammer, insert the tip of the dowel into the slab.
⁃ Take a screwdriver and screw the dowel into the plasterboard plate.
⁃ At this point the insert is inserted into the slab and externally we see it as a "thread" of the same.
⁃ We take a screwdriver and position the screw of the plug inside it.
⁃ We screw the screw to allow the tip of the plug (placed in the gap) to grip the slab.
ADVANTAGE: more economical solution than glue and double-sided adhesive. The picture can be easily hung or removed from the wall. The hole of the dowel will then be easily covered by a little stucco.
DISADVANTAGE: a drill is required to screw the dowel into the slab. The operation can cause dust and dirt.
