HOW TO FIX THE TV BRACKET ON PLASTERBOARD
Have you bought a beautiful TV and can't wait to display it in the living room, perhaps hung on the wall as if it were a painting?
Nothing simpler!
By applying the relative TV bracket to the wall, you can achieve the desired result.
Application surfaces
Obviously, depending on the surface where the TV bracket will be fixed, you will have to use some precautions:
- Masonry: fix the TV bracket directly to the wall using special screws or insert plugs into the wall and then apply the bracket by screwing the screws into the plugs.
- Against plasterboard wall:
- fix the TV bracket with special screws but long enough to anchor them directly on the wall.
- A second possibility involves the application of a multilayer wooden plank in the rear part of the slab which guarantees a greater seal to the mechanical fixing.
- A third possibility is to replace the standard plasterboard sheet with a new generation high density "gypsum fiber" sheet that allows heavy objects to be fixed directly on it.
- Plasterboard wall: in this case it will be necessary to understand what type of wall you have and then make changes.
- If you have a standard single slab, it will be necessary to apply a multilayer wooden plank to the rear of the slab itself to ensure a greater hold on the mechanical fixing.
- Alternatively, you can proceed with the replacement of the standard plate in the area where the TV bracket will be fixed and insert a new generation high-density “gypsum fiber” plate that allows you to fix heavy objects directly on it.
- If, on the other hand, you have a double slab wall, you can use the special plasterboard dowels for fixing objects.
ATTENTION: as this type of intervention is very delicate, the advice is to contact a highly specialized company that can help you.
