HOW TO ASSEMBLE A WHITE LACQUERED SHEET HATCH
Here are easy step-by-step instructions for installing a white lacquered sheet hatch:
• Place a roll of corrugated cardboard and 4x4 cover sheets on the ground to protect the flooring from dust and debris;
• First of all make sure that the metal profiles (uprights) necessary to support the weight of the trap door are present in the internal part adjacent to the hole in the plasterboard;
• Separate the door from the external aluminum frame;
• Proceed with a professional hacksaw to create a hole of the "plug" size on the wall or on the plasterboard false ceiling. NB: if the hole is not perfectly linear, proceed with a file planer to perfect it;
• Place the aluminum frame outside the hole created, in the front of the wall or the plasterboard false ceiling. Note: the white lacquered aluminum trap door differs from the plasterboard one as well as for the technical-mechanical characteristics, also for the mounting system. Their application is, in fact, totally resting on the external part of the plasterboard as if they were a plug to be placed on the hole created. The hatch will be glued to the plasterboard.
• Fasten the aluminum frame to the plate by applying acetic silicone to the rear of the frame. Note: after this operation, the frame will be the "frame" of the hole previously made.
• Now insert the door separated from the aluminum frame previously.
• Finally, check that the click clack opening system works perfectly.
