HIGH DENSITY PLASTERBOARD SHEETS
New technology and improved mechanical strength
The high density plasterboard sheets (about 1000 kg / m3 for a weight of more than 40 kg) consist of a reinforced core that makes them resistant to mechanical stress and heavy loads.
Particularly suitable for residential buildings, in addition to absorbing in a limited way the humidity present in the environment, they also respect the new acoustic regulations in force for the partition walls.
Technical features:
• Sturdy and reinforced,
• Moisture resistant,
• Improved core for sound insulation,
• High workability,
• Poor tendency to ignite.
Fastening of high density plates:
Considering their internal composition and the above-mentioned core density, these slabs can not be worked with "standard" screws but they need a particular type of screw that presents, next to the "head" of the same, a thread that works in reverse direction compared to the first part.
This special thread facilitates the entry of the screw into the plate, as the reverse thread allows the chip to escape inside the hole without creating a "cap" that blocks the penetration of the fixing element.
